Your tour guide in Laguardia and much more

My name is Andrea Santamaría Río. I was born in La Rioja, and have always been passionate about art and history. I started my tourism studies in 2005 and since then, my interests have led me to soak up the history of this area, and showing it to the rest of the world has become my way of life.

My experience as a tour guide began in the monasteries of Suso and Yuso, a privileged place, a World Heritage Site, known as the cradle of the Castilian and Basque language. Later, I worked as a guide in Logroño, Haro, Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Nájera. All of them rich in history, culture and art.

My life led me to settle in the town of Laguardia, capital of the Rioja Alavesa, known not only for its good wines, but also for its history, traditions and customs.

I am moved by my passion, and making it my job has been a privilege, since every day it allows me to share it with everyone who wants not only to visit Laguardia and Rioja Alavesa, but to discover and experience it thoroughly.
